Community Support Worker (CSW)

SB is looking for someone to balance out her dedicated support team. SB is fun to work with which is why she so many fantastic long term staff. She has a cat that she loves very much. SB appreciates a balance of fun, quiet and healthy activity. She enjoys movies, theatre and sailing, just to name a few of her interests.

This is a permanent full time position, after 3 months of working you are enrolled in our benefits program.

SB is usually a quiet communicator and uses a pictorial book to communicate with you. She also uses eye movement and body language to let you know what she needs. It takes a bit of time to learn her communication style but once you do it is easy to communicate with her.

The CSW supports clients to achieve their greatest degree of independence in environments of their choice through participation in onsite and community opportunities. Duties include; participation in the development of individual client service plans & the opportunity to plan and lead programming while assisting with activities of daily living.
